The Descendants Movie starring George Clooney

The Descendants is an upcoming comedy drama movie directed by Alexander Payne and based on the novel of the same name by Kaui Hart Hemmings. The story revolves around a land baron who tries to re-connect with his two daughters after his wife suffers a boating accident. The film is starring George Clooney, Shailene Woodley, Beau Bridges, Robert Forster, Judy Greer, Matthew Lillard, Nick Krause, Amara Miller, Mary Birdsong, Rob Huebel, and Patricia Hastie. It will be released in theaters on December 16, 2011.

Plot:
"The Descendants is a sometimes humorous, sometimes tragic journey for Matt King (George Clooney) an indifferent husband and father of two girls, who is forced to re-examine his past and embrace his future when his wife suffers a boating accident off of Waikiki. The event leads to a rapprochement with his young daughters while Matt wrestles with a decision to sell the family’s land handed down from Hawaiian royalty and missionaries."

Haven't read the novel, but judging from the premise above, I'm pretty sure I'll be hooked by the story of The Descendants movie. Especially since the film is starring the damn talented handsome actor George Clooney.
